An honest Learning Spanish like Crazy Review

The main thing I noticed about this course is it focuses on the spoken language and improving your conversational ability rather than the usual, more boring approach, of focusing on the reading and writing aspect of learning a language. Learning to read and write just isn’t as rewarding as seeing improvements in the speaking side of Spanish, which is why I found this course very interesting.

Instead of ordering the CD package, I would advise you to look into the digital download version because of the vast price difference and you can also get stuck in straight away with the download, not having to wait for delivery.

A little about the author

The author, called Patrick Jackson, an American who is someone who seems to have gone through all the problems with learning Spanish that most of us have, having tried multiple courses that just haven’t worked and are now gathering dust in the corner, being embarrassed trying to use his language in front of native speakers and being made fun of. He seems to have used a lot of his own personal experiences when creating this product, choosing the content he feels you need to know that will crop up in every day conversation.

Why this Course?

Some grammatical rules relevant to each lesson are covered in Learning Spanish like Crazy. I found that understanding why certain rules were used in different circumstances was very useful and much more helpful than just following instructions without being given reasons behind grammatical rules, which some courses tend to neglect. This makes me feel much more confident that I will make less mistakes when making my own sentences. I was really pleased with the sound quality of this product. I have heard re-recorded tape cassette audio too many times in other courses and to use these good quality sound clips was a breath of fresh air for me.

Patrick Jackson uses techniques to stop you trying to just memorise word after word, because that is proven to be a very difficult if not impossible way to go when it comes to learning a language.

When you are first learning to speak as a child, you make relationships in your mind between the things you are trying to say and the sounds you need to make to communicate effectively. You don’t go around memorising phrases and random words hoping to pick it up like that.
